“Ai-Foster”: A Unique initiative · Contents of the Business Plan Executive Summary, Mission Statement, Market Summary, SWOT analysis, Business Concept & Description, Goals & Objectives, Marketing Plan, Production and Operations Plan, Organization Structure and roles, Financial Analysis, Resource Requirements, Risks & Rewards, Key Issues · Standard Format of Plan Font: Times New Roman, Font-Size: 12, Line Spacing: 1.5 · Eligibility Competition opens to all bonafide, post-graduate students of a recognized University/Institution. · Registration Fees Rs 200/- Per Entry:- Each team have to make the Demand Draft of Rs 200 on the name of “AICAR Business School, payable at Mumbai” and the Demand Draft should be sent to the address below:

· Rules ü Each Business Plan entry must be an original piece of work. ü A Contesting team can consist of not more than 4 members. ü An institution can send more than one team ü Requests for revaluation or extension of deadlines will not be entertained. ü The Organizers are not liable for any failure of the e-mail provider / network in case of non receipt of the Business Plan within the stipulated deadline. ü Judges will have the sole discretion in judging the Executive summaries and business ideas.
The Business plan entries must be sent through e-mail to aifoster@aicar.net with the filled application form in a standard format (also available at the site (www.aicar.net) up to 17th February, 12 noon. You have to scan the Demand Draft and sent through email along with Executive Summary.
· 10 Business plan entries will be Shortlisted on the basis judging criteria in Executive summary. · Short listed teams for the final presentation will be informed through E-mail on 18th February, 2010. · All teams have to be ready with their final presentation. · All the shortlisted teams are requested to bring the soft copy of the presentation in a CD.
· Judging Criteria The entries will be evaluated on the following parameters: Innovation, marketability, perceived viability of the venture and profitability, sustainability and business ethics.
· Cash Prizes to be won Winner : - Rs 20000 Runners Up : - Rs 5000 Each shortlisted entry will be awarded a Participation Certificate/Certificate of Merit. So what are your young brains waiting for? Appendix I : Suggested Format for Executive summary (Max 3 pages) Please include the following sections. This is the preferred structure of the entry suiting our pattern of evaluation. If you think it's limiting the expression of your ideas, you're free to add more information.
· The Motivation: A Statement of Purpose · The Context: A Background · The Concept: Product/Service Description · The Market: Estimated Current and Potential Market · The Risk: Potential Risks/Mitigation Plans · The People: The Entrepreneur, Completeness, Commitment · The Money: What kind of seed investment are you looking for, what kind of a deal?
