AICTE is conducting the first National level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)-2012 for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE for the year 2012-13.
Scores awarded will be used for allotment of seat in the AICTE approved Institutes/University Departments.

Interview Center:

The selection process will be conducted at the AICAR Neral Campus

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduates in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.

Those appearing in the final examination (for graduation) in March/April 2011 are also eligible to apply, subject to their clearance of the degree examination.

Work Experience and consistent, good academic performance are given adequate weightage.

Selection Procedure:

Consists of:
Part A: scores of CMAT, CAT, XAT, MAT, CET and ATMA

Part B: (i) GD (Group Discussion) and (ii) Personal interview (PI)

Part C: Presentation on a given topic / Case Analysis

Part D: (i) Past academic performance and (ii) Work experience.

Final selection is based on the aggregate scores in the various parts (elements) of the admissions/selection process.

Fee Structure:

¥ - Nature of Fees:
NR - Non Refundable
R – Refundable (as per norms)

# - DD favoring "AICAR Education Support Services", payable at Mumbai, towards Residential/Day Scholar Facility Charges
   - Residential Facilities include boarding and lodging and other amenities available to Day Scholars

* - DD favoring "AICAR Business School", payable at Mumbai towards Academic Fees

Other Costs:
1) Rs. 1,500/- for medical check payable on the day of reporting at campus.
2) Rs. 3,500/- for AICAR uniform payable on the day of reporting at campus.

Note:
1) Students have to report on campus with a Wi-Fi enabled laptop.
2) In the event the selected candidate decides not to join AICAR Business School, the candidate should send a written communication to the Institute before 1st June 2011, to avail refund of only the Academic Fee. No refund of academic fees will be possible if intimation of cancellation is received after 1st June 2011.
3) Service Tax if any levied by government in future is extra and will be borne by the student.
4) Students can contact the Accounts Department for assistance in securing an educational loan.
