Managing Trustee's Message

Mr. Walter Saldanha
Ajay Oberoi

The higher education arena in India presents considerable scope for innovation and improvement, especially in management education, which unfortunately comprises several institutions whose sole purpose is to act as a Placement Agency offering high salaried jobs.

With the socio-political and economic environment becoming increasingly volatile, businesses need managers who are well groomed beyond their analytical skills. Today’s Corporates require managers  who possess a greater degree of IQ, EQ, and SQ balance (Intelligence, Emotional and Spiritual Quotients), i.e. value-based managers who are emotionally stable, while applying their intellect and analytical power to project likely outcomes in given business scenario. Indeed businesses need managers who can face growth and down-turn with equal dexterity.

This is the area where AICAR Business School differentiates itself from others. The curricular and co-curricular activities at Aicar groom the learners through varied aspects of IQ, EQ, and SQ. ‘Learning-by-doing’ pedagogy seamlessly combines live projects, Community Services, VCD-based learning, debates, learning from Gurus (not management alone) with theoretical inputs on management subjects. Learners at AICAR Business School co-own the responsibility for organizing various events and competition that gives them hands–on experience in managing people and material.

A large campus with modern facilities, scholar-practitioner mentors and open air environment, contribution to our endeavor to develop much needed wholly groomed business managers for tomorrow. Is it any wonder our learners have created a niche in industry and society in a short span of time.
